Hello ACCers,

As you may be aware, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees adopted
a revised "Access to Nonpublic Information Policy"
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Access_to_nonpublic_information_policy>
as of 25 April 2014, and the policy is now starting to go into effect.
As part of this transition, the identification procedure has changed,
and *all users* who have access to nonpublic information as defined by
the policy, *including ACC*, will need to reidentify to the Wikimedia
Foundation, which does involve signing a legally-binding confidentiality
agreement.

Existing users listed on the "old" identification noticeboard
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Identification_noticeboard/old> (which
will probably be most of you) *must* re-identify by 15 December 2015 if
they wish to retain their access to ACC and/or other nonpublic data.

All new ACC users will be required to be listed on the new
identification page and be identified under the new procedure before ACC
access will be granted.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE BE ADVISED that on 16 December 2015, I (or another
root) will reset the identification status of every ACC user and only
mark as identified those that are listed on the new identification page
at

 If you have not identified under the new procedure by this date, you
*will* lose your access to ACC until you identify!
